S/V Roshambo, Stuart, Florida

We've been bouncing back and forth (not literally as of late) as to which marina we were going to move too. Most marinas evacuate if a hurricane is headed our way, the only one that doesn't is Harborage in stuart, however they are in the crap water of the saint lucie river, we lived there when we were at the Southpoint Anchorage. Anyhow, we really want to move to the Marriott marina on Hutchinson, they have a lot of nice services and a very nice marina. They are also cheaper, many local marinas are lowering their prices because they know there are going to be a very limited number of return winter boats due to the gas prices, some of these guys paid over $10,000 to move their boat north. Anyhow, we are going to move to the Marriott and we are setting up a plan with a local boat yard, for $500 per year we can have a priority haul out and strap down when a big storm comes (still have to pay about $400 for the haul and splash, but it's worth it for the piece of mind. So move date is going to October 1.
