Hells yea, works great, was a hell of a lot of work, but i am glad it's starting to come together. I am not finished, but i am able to test it. I still have to mount it and I need to make the front cover with filter setup.
I am also going to do some wiring while I am at it, I bought a new panel to power the sub panel and installed a second 30 amp tail, i really like the new Blue Sea Panel and am going to buy a new panel to replace my existing incoming setup.
Well I have started working on the next project... installation of the forward a/c unit. I have started it and have the spot and duct holes drilled. Still have a lot of wiring and plumbing to do however. Will be adding another shore power inlet and another small breaker panel.
We got our new tempurpedic mattress from Artisian Mattresses, awesome, these guys have got to be one of the best organizations I have EVER dealt with, they kept me posted throughout the process, finished the job AHEAD OF the promised due date and did an amazing job. It's such a great experience when you deal with a company that knows how to take care of it's customers and does a good job that they should be proud of.
Well I've had a lot of projects going, first one was to remove the crappy bed in the aft cabin, make a template and send it off to have a tempurpedic mattress made. I've got the aft cabin all tore apart and we are sleeping in the vberth. Next I bought another a/c unit, 16,000 btu unit at an auction, thing is basically brand new and it only cost me $46 bucks LOL For a 2300 a/c unit. Anyhow as soon as I get the aft cabin together it's time to tear the vberth apart and install the new a/c unit!
Yack, what a rape thing cost me a fortune, for whatever reason the last month or so I have been cleaning the thing every damn day. Anyhow the new pump is much quieter I really like it.
We finally made the move today, it was only 6 miles, but man was it slow going. Prop was really fouled, we couldn't get the boat scraped prior to departing due to weather.
So far we love it, the slip is huge, got a great view out the back, lots of extras.
OK, guys it's in the works, the domain is up and the website is coming along you are welcome to check it out, get signed up and give me some feedback. If you try to access the site and can't, it's probably due to the fact that the domain hasn't propogated to your location yet, give it a few hours.
Won't take me long to get it open, I will keep you posted. It's going to have free blogs, free photo gallery, forums for chat. Lots of good stuff. I will be looking for moderator help, so feel free to email me if you are interested.
Just to give you an idea of my experience, I have owned and operated an automotive forum for over 7 years, I have maintained the site, the servers and driven a lot of traffic to the site. I have been involved with other successful forums and I know how to get the job done, I hope to see you there!
Been having issues with it lately, I believe a lot of the issues stemmed from the bad water when we were at the anchorage. i had to replace the electrode pack. A few hundred bucks we're up and running. I still can't say enough good about the electro scan units I am very pleased with it.
Just wanted to say to everyone in the path of Ike and good luck and we'll be pulling for you. Hopefully everyone makes it through safely and with minimal damage.
